Our Consultative Process

Discovery Meeting

Many people have questions about estate planning when they first meet an estate planner. Hence, do not feel shy seeking advice from one. It will be more fruitful when Client prepares these set of materials before they meet one: their family tree, their assets list, their list of beneficiaries, preferred guardian and executor.

Engagement of Services

After the first meeting, when Clients feel ready to proceed, they will sign the Letter of Engagement, pay the deposit and provide the necessary information and documents. The drafting of Will starts upon the receipt of these.

Review & Revision

Most people will want to make several rounds of changes before attestation. We allow Testators up to 2 rounds of changes without any charges. Once everything is confirmed, we can proceed with finalisation, that is, the attestation. This will be done at our office.

Will Custody, Registry & Asset Inventory

The keeping of the Will and Schedule of Assets Inventory can be arranged to be stored at our private and secure facility. Of course, there is no need to keep your Will with us, but we hope that our Clients understand the importance of keeping the Will private and safe. We will guide our Clients what needs to be done after the Attestation.

Completion of the Process

If Client has other requirements or instructions, the process will end here. Clients are advised to review their Estate Plan or Will regularly.

Please check out this article to learn when Clients should review their Estate Plan / Will.
